Lago UK scenery a must

Alright,Here's the latest. Had a natter with Stephen Gordon, the creator of the excellent Cleveland 2001 scenery. He has given me permission to post the content of his email here on the forum. It may be of interest to Cleveland flyers."..I have just bought the LAGO mesh myself, and its excellent, it includes Rosebury Topping and loads of detail not previously visible like the Esk Valley. England has never looked better on a computer. Roseberry Topping is not Perfect, the familiar outline is not re-produced very well, but at least its now there. The Coordinates Are :- N54* 30.43 W 1* 6.56 The road running just to the east of the hill at the above coordinates is the one which I take to work every morning in Guisborough, and if you follow it in the flight simulator it leads straight to my office in Guisbrough (which is actually in the scenery), so I

AfoxRoseberry Topping sounds like something you pour on the top of a cake :-)My area is really well done and flying over the little hills match up to Real flights I do.I did some positioning for commercial flights with a clapped out 150 and took shots which I was hoping to add as a comparison but lost my Hardrive a couple of months back (again :-( so no pickiesa hill visble from my house with a unique shape is present in the lago scenery as are the Breidons and Long mountain with every ripple present.Along long mountain there is a cutout which I use for a visual point for a left base join at EGCW which then puts me on a 4 mile final. The airfield is not visible behind long mountain when approaching from the east.Even that cutout is present which is pretty amazing.Peter

Pete,You're definately right about the 'cake' :-lol By the sounds of it looks like MY stomping grounds have been given the treatment too. This certainly looks like the best mesh to date. Still hoping some happy photographer will post me a shot of the 'cake' in question, however. Thanks Pete.AFOX :-wave

Belay that request ! The input has convinced me too. I've just purchased the mesh in question and I'm off for a spot of VFR. Thanks for the Teesside feedback people.AFOX :-wave

Well, the hill's definately there - Not as striking as she is in real life but she's there alright. Great stuff ! And I'll add my plaudits to the others on this page! Left with the question of landclass now, however. I'd be interested to know what LC preferences you people have when flying UK ?AFOX.
