How do i smooth down my glideslope descent?

Recommended Posts

Guest LSangiovanni LIML

Hi folks,i've been flying this "thing" since FS5 and i have to tell that most of my landings are fairly good. The only step i need to improve is the descent once glideslope matched: in other words, how do i smooth this descent and avoid the AC to change her peak up and down from time to time? When planning a flight i usually fill the AC tanks with the correct amount of fuel and so before landing aircraft is never too loud. Thanks in avdance for any advicecheersLuigi ;-)

I think it's just the airfile. Use the PSS B744, she doesn't dive and pitch up to capture the glideslope.

Hi,I am sure it's the airfile. No matter what you change to, to my knowledge, only PSS one (B744) doesn't dive.

Hi Luigi,From reading previous threads about proper utilization of the glide slope, one thing stood out: Make sure you have enough airspeed when you engage it. I've found this single suggestion to be most helpful.Regards, John
