YeoDesigns 737 and DF Panel

Recommended Posts

Anybody had success integrating these two together? I am having issues with the airfile, I believe. I have resolved all but 1 problem: I have no elevator trim when these two are combined. My trim wheel just "twitches" up and down. I must have missed something in the AIRCRAFT.CFG, but I can't see what - possibly an .AIR file issue perhaps.Anyway, if anyone has jumped this hurdle successfully...please let me know what you've done. Thanks,J

I've never attempted to merge these two items, but I realitviely sure this will work.Use the DF734 FDE and Air files and then copy the Yeodesigns contact points of the DF734 contact points. Of course, you're now really flying a 734, but you shouldn't see any side effects.Ryan-Flightpro08 :-coolVATSIM Pilot/ControllerZLA ARTCC Controller 1 (C-1)SAN TRACON Lead [link:www.taxiwaysigns.com]Taxiwaysigns.com Scenery Designer-----------------------------My "Home Made" System Specs:Intel Pentium 4 2.2GHz ProcessorTurbo Gamer ATX Mid-Tower with 420W Power SupplyEPoX 4G4A Motherboard with Intel 845G ChipsetVisiontek XTASY GeForce4 128MB Ti4600 (Det 40.41 Drivers)512MB PC2100 DDR RAM40GB Matrox 7200RPM Hard DriveWindows XP Home Edition*No CPU or GPU Overclocking*3dMark2001SE Score: 11298

I'd be really surprised if it DID work, to be honest. The 737-400 and 737-200 are very different aircraft, so even if you did get everything to work on the panel, I'm sure the handling/numbers wouldn't be very accurate. Just a thought...Glenn

I just clobbered the .AIR file and replaced it with the 400 provided by DreamFleet. Seems to have done the trick (although I'm somewhat bummed at having lost the dynamics of the 200 - Yeo really did a nice job on their FDE).

'course it's not like I can really discern what a "correct" 737-400 feels like and how it differs from a 200 :)
