To my fellow flightsimmers.The proof was always there. Your fellow flightsimmers attempted many times to warn you that this was PT. I know when I tried to warn the community along came those that defended them and accused me and others of being on some kind of crusade. Yes I may have got a little nasty at times but it was very frustrating to know that so many choose to ignore the possibility. We must resist the need to have everything. Purchasing from a company like Arianne is damaging to the whole flight sim community. Lets be diligent and force PT to move on.A merchant assumes all responsibility when accepting charge cards as payment. George,I do understand the points you make . . . honestly, I do. There is no excuse for software theft, texture, config files or whatever. Just the other week I saw some of the finest repaint artists bow out because of it, and it is a shame.My main point is that when you continue to pound on the subject, you will end up softening the blow due to people not wanting to read or hear it all again. And, you cannot protect everyone . . . it just isn't possible. With luck, the idea and word will trickly down and most will get the message, but do not forget there reaches a point of deminishing returns. Again, you have mroe than made your point, and it is a good one, now its time for the FS world either to fish or cut bait. Tracy, Thanks for the reply and I take on board what you say. Tracy now Tom has exposed Ariane and it's leaders as frauds, my work here is almost done. Ever since he ripped my family off(yes I did take it very personally) I said then he will be very very sorry he crossed me, knowing nothing about me, my background he had the nerve to threaten a totally innocent "customer" (me) with spurious legal threats and other twaddle. Let me tell you and anybody else, this has not been pleasent, I've met some wonderful people in person and by mail, all dedicated to the hobby they so much loved and have been tarnished by the a contempteous evil from Luton. Shy retiring types with no agenda other than wanting to make models or scenery for no reward other than a thank you. Flattered that a commercial company would be so interested in what they do.Not one of them has a happy ending to tell Tracy, not a single one of them. Instead they've been left bitter by the experience. Threats from Solicitors, threats by phone calls and e mails. Strung along for payment only to be told do this extra and we'll pay you, refusal results in more threats and a pounding and bamboozling over spurious contract and litigation terms...get the picture Tracy ?Most developers are not businessmen, they dont understand fully, contractual terms, they dont understand right., title and interest for what they do for the next five years, O.K. it's naive, but fundamentally they are flattered hobbyist's, excited that they will have thier work on the store shelves. One did get his Solicitor involved after an attempt was made to rip him, Tishma had the cheek to attempt to tell him (the Lawyer) HE was wrong.The final outcome was a developer out of pocket not paid, a big legal bill, Tishy strung both of them to the wire, published the goods, but never paid and that is only part of the story from one.This before I even attempt to mention the countless "users" who have not been in a position to obtain the goods they thought they purchased.So yes, we are both right and perhaps I should retire, I dont believe now Tom has exposed Ariane for what it is, I can do much more publicly. It's now in the hands of the community to decide as it is the potential buyers. I would hate it to be the case (and I of all people dont wish to sound or be arrogant) of "I told you so".Tishy is not the only one with spurious contracts out there but thats one for another day and lets hope not another fight. On a final note Tracy, remember the Fox is still lurking like the thief in the night he is. No amount of I'm your friend I'd realy like to play with you, will convince me otherwise.George

I don't know how long you have been "cruising" and picking up "tidbits" but, since you exhibit such a much-less-than-complete knowledge of the subject at hand, I'd suggest you go back to lurking and let those who know what's going on do the heavy work. George and Toni can speak for themselves, but they certainly don't need a newbie to tell either of them anything when it comes to PT/WAS/Ariane, et. al. George, if we had a dollar or a pound for all the posts we've suspected PT of making over the years we'd be rich men :-) . And I'll bet we were right about more than half of them. Ol' "Tracy" just got my goat. I don't know why I care anymore or why I let things get my blood pressure up a bit too high, but this one got to me (again). I understand that a few days ago Nels Anderson pulled all the Ariane material from flightsim.com. And that was a direct result of the revelations of the past two weeks. You, Toni, Gary, and the others who have perservered through this mess have my heartiest thanks. We've all known for a long, long time who was really whom. I'm glad you guys were finally able to get the level of awareness up to the point that things are coming to a head.Trip
