What Do You Think about FSFlightMax?

Recommended Posts

Guest flightpro08

Hey everyone. With the release of FSMETEO version 5.2 (which has the capatabilty of working along side FSFlightMax), I was considering purchasing it. Though, before spending $34.99 (which is kind of expensive for an FS2k2 add-on), I wanted to get some opinions from people who have the software. So, what do you all think about the system and does it work well with FSMETEO? Thanks. :-)Ryan-Flightpro08 :-coolVATSIM Pilot/ControllerZLA ARTCC Controller 1 (C-1)SAN TRACON Lead [link:www.taxiwaysigns.com]Taxiwaysigns.com Scenery Designer-----------------------------My "Home Made" System Specs:Intel Pentium 4 2.2GHz ProcessorTurbo Gamer ATX Mid-Tower with 420W Power SupplyEPoX 4G4A Motherboard with Intel 845G ChipsetVisiontek XTASY GeForce4 128MB Ti4600 (Det 29.42 WHQL Drivers)512MB PC2100 DDR RAM40GB Matrox 7200RPM Hard DriveWindows XP Home Edition SP1*No CPU or GPU Overclocking*3dMark2001SE Score: 11298

Hi Ryan,In my opinion, FSflightmax is ground breaking. The approximation of weather radar returns within FS2k is a first! The compatiblity with FSmeteo is continuing to evolve. I downloaded a new fsflightmax.exe this afternoon and finally have the two programs (live update) talking to each other. Now what we need is FSUIPC creating some "real" turbulance so when we decide to fly our light aircraft into the middle of a T-storm it gets real bumpy! The additional features of the package are well worth the money without weather radar. Highly recommend it.Have fun!BobP :)
