Lars,please allow me first of all to thank you for your quick response to my enquiry about EditVP last night. I'm still not sure what the error was, but reinstalling Microsoft .NET Framework fixed the problem of my being unable to open EditVP.Now that it seems to be working again, I also restored the original germanbig.gvp ATC database file and decided to start afresh. However, the following issue still appears. After opening the sample.vcmod and hitting "Update Voicepack" I am getting a warning message which I will now try to translate as best as I can:"An untreated exception has occurred within a component of your application. Click "Continue" to ignore the error and resume the process. If you click "Abort", the application will be terminated immediately.The source array is not long enough. Chck srcIndex as well as the length and lower limit of the array."The "Details" button gives me another page full of indications which I cannot make any sense of, though. I have saved these comments and can email them to you, in case you can make use of them.Can you tell me anything about what the above warning message means?Many thanks,

Delete CanJet, Caravan, and Challenge Air Cargo, then it will work.This is due to unexpected changes in the localized voicepacks compared to the English version. Yet another thing fixed in 2.0. :)/Lars

I see...(don't have to understand it in all details, though, do I? ;-) )Okay, just tried it with deleting the three airlines you mentioned, and it seems to have worked :D . Gonna check it out in the sim now.Thanks!!! :D

Lars...EVP is great! i'm having a blast re-creating airlines from the old days, and getting the small airports to be recognized. thanks for EVP and your help!now...wouldn't it be great if MS could provide proper accents too?nice workchris
