STUMPED WHILE PAINTING - PLEASE HELP

Recommended Posts

Hi friends,I was painting a hybrid 747-400, but I got stumbled with the tail. This is my first attempt at painting and I hope you will point out my mistake. I have painted only the tail and haven't started with the fuselage.1. This is my 7474bdyl.bmp which I converted back to 8 bit. ( I use Photoshop 6)http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3d9f427a7e928318.jpg2. This is my 7474bdyr.bmp which I converted back to 8 bit.http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3d9f42b37f4b5354.jpg3. Though I painted Virgin on the Right sided textures, when I launch FS2K2, it gets displayed on the left part of the tail. How is that?http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3d9f42ed7fcad452.jpg4. And the right sided British Airways tail (thought I painted it on 747bdyl.bmp) is not displayed at all.http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3d9f431e0163c7d3.jpgThanks for your help.JINESH.P.S.: THE LEFT SIDE TAIL LOGO GETS DISPLAYED ONLY AFTER I PRESS THE "L" KEY. OTHERWISE, IT IS WHITE.AND I THINK BA AND VA WILL LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER WHEN I FINISH THIS LIVERY ;)

:-lol REad the note and the arrow right next to the tail texture. What that means is that that part of the textrue is fo the left side of teh vertical stab. I think it was made that way by the gang at POSky to make it easier to repaint the textures(all text & logos on the right side textures need to be reversed").
