Designers Looking for Something New to Build??? Please

With the Air Wagon cropduster now available, I had been thinking of the Ag Cat for some time but just have too many irons in the fire and my current health just doesn't give me the fortitude at this time to learn how to build it myself.

I would love to see a GMAX model of the Ag Cat with all the bells and whistles. Not to mention that i would bet it would be a popular download with many of the other simmers as well. I used to really enjoy low-level flying and missed my calling in life by not becoming a fire-bomber pilot or crop-duster.Anyway, think it over. I, for one, would be VERY appreciative.If the AgCat doesn't strike your interest, how about a Grumman Widgeon or a MI-24 D Hind Attack helicopter? Hasn't been one of those since FS98 (I just searched).Cheers!Heather

WIDGEON, WIDGEON!!!! Yeah, I was thinking about doing that with the Beech 18. It shouldn't be too difficult as it is only a smoke FX. I was just checking out the AG AirWagon just a few minutes ago. Can't say much for the textures but that is one JOY of an airplane to fly; and with such a low stall speed you can land and take-off almost anywhere. Very maneuverable. Great fun!!I was laying a line of spray and managing to get her turned around and back to lay a parallel line before the first disipated. Dang! But I should have followed a different path in my earlier years!I always loved low level flying. My only problem would be handling those pesticides. That stuff scares me.Cheers!Heather

With every respect to the creator of that latest Air Tractor ... well, he says himself that the textures are "original flightsim", or words to that effect! There's a very nice model available as below that looks just fine in FS2002 ... it comes with a nice panel and, IMO, better smoke set-up.
