It should be said ,that this forum my be the most democratic of all of them.Other than some not to "swift comments',of which we may all be guilty of,this forum is most tolerant. The biggest story,that will effect our world of Simming is being properly aired here.Its also being encouraged. That by asking us to participate in the survey re: X-BOX.How healthy this is.Reading the multitude of the thoughts and posts regarding this volatile subject,revels the intelligence of the participants.Outstanding!. In some totalitarian places ,reasonable debate,or intelligent discussion are suppressed.Any concern, is being referred to a "Don't Worry ,Be Happy,Drink more Cool aid" attitude. Worse ,is the practice of legitimate concern,it may offend some one,it is said. We are talking about a consumer product,and service here.Any and all comment,concern,conjecture,about things which cost money,our money, are justified. We all have our own Ideas regarding this topic,and thats healthy.If some choose to believe any part of these ideas,so be it. If this seems like rumor spreading,well it my be.However ,the biggest rumors are the result of non information ,and arrogant disregard for honest inquiry's. For instance,a respected,and giant of a company like the one in question,chooses to be silent and under a barrage of concerned inquiry's about one of there products.We know they monitor feedback,they may even use it to plan new products?.What does that tell us? In place of official information by them ,it has put the blame on them and them alone for what we have now.That which, some think this is too unpleasant to think,talk,reflect ,and most importantly comment on. All simmers are intelligent, responsible,dedicated, fiercly independet,a people in pursuit of a hobby,which they alone created.The evolution of a game into what we have know ,is soley the the result of their dedication,support,and spending cash, to the world of Flight Simming. Whole industries have sprung up to support this great aviation subject. Huge sums of money are spent,on new products,powerful computers,and all the related "things simming",by us!They appear now to be cruising VFR,on top,however a CAT3 landing may be awaiting them. We here, have come to praise Ceaser,not to bury him. With an almost a religious fervor,we await his word. And that would be,only honest ,official,information regarding a beloved hobby practiced by many loyal ,dedicated simmers. We are listening! VIN!
