ELSA / E-Dimensional Problem

Recommended Posts

Guest byoung

I have the ELSA 3D Revelator which is very similiar to the E-Dimensional VR Glasses.I have reloaded the NVDIA drivers both the standard and the Stereo version 30.87.I understand that you have to let FS 2002 re-build its FS2002.CFG file. I did get it to work once and it was amazing.I have a GEF 4 ti 4200 w/ 128MB ramMy monitor is an Hitachi CM 813 which is able to produce 120 Hz @1024 x 768.On the 3D Stereo Setting dialog, I can set the resolution to 1024 x 768. And the Refresh Rate to 120 Hz, but it won't save the settings.Any Ideas on what I should do?Thanks!Barry

So what is the problem? IS it that the Refresh Rate won't save the settings? What O/S are you using? If you're using XP, you need to get a tweak that will lock the refresh rates.Matt

Howdy Barry,Here is a link to a tool called HzTool, which will allow you to set the refresh rate of your monitor. http://hem.spray.se/doxx/It is freeware and works pretty well.I have the E dimensional glasses and one thing that I have found is when I first start up FS2k2, I will often have to change the resolution in the flight sim. In fact I always close flightsim one resolution lower than what I plan to run it at, then when I start it up I go to Options/Settings,Hardware, and change the resolution up, this usually will let the sterographics work.Hope this helps,

Thanks Everybody for your responses..I tried the RefreshLock and it seems to work, but on the Stereo Drivers dialog it still won't save that setting...Also what Hot Key do you use as Ctrl + T is a FS 2002 key to do wome function..Thanks!Barry
