Dash 7 engine start with new overhead

Recommended Posts

Milton et al, Let me first thank you for doing what most around here believed impossible: improving on the Dash 7! This has become one of my all time favorites, and this forum is testimony to the fact that I'm not alone.I love the new overhead panel - it adds even more immersion to the cockpit. My question is the correct procedure for starting the engines from this panel. It looks like you need to set the start selector to the engine you want to start, turn on the ignition for that engine, set the start switch to "ignition" and then press the starter. My problem is that I can't get the engine selector to move. If I start the engines with Ctrl-E and then turn off the fuel cutoffs, I can then move the selector and restart the engines. My guess is that some other switch needs to be in the right position before the selector will move. Could you please help me with the correct procedure? Thanks,Philip.

Thanks Scott! I didn't notice it before because I was just looking in the Documentation folder. That should do it.Thanks again,Philip.
