Wilco's airports?

Recommended Posts

Guest Lobaeux4

With the release of Wilco's Airport 2002 v1, I was kinda expecting that Wilco's Airport 2000 vol 3 and 2 would be going on sale or at least be offered for a less price than A2K2. Would these be worth buying for FS2K2, especially since the offerings in Vol 3 (San Francisco International, Denver International, Seattle Tacoma, Paris Orly, Kastrup Copenhagen, Berlin Tegel aren't available as freeware yet) are not on my harddrive, yet all except O'Hare, I've already got without getting Airport 2K2? I seriously thought about getting Airport 2k2, but from the early screenshots, and early impressions, it doesn't seem like that much of an advancement over Simflyer's, yet Vol 2 and 3 offer airports not already available.Anyone know where I can buy a downloadable ver. of Airport 2000 vol 2 or vol 3? I hate waiting for snail mail!! Yes, I am impatient, lol.Lobaeux

If you like FS2002 and the quality lately seen then leave Vol 2 and 3 for what they are... they are base on FS2000 techniques... and quality...As for the screenshots I'll will receive my copy tomorrow and will place some high resolution screen shots close-ups to get a really good impression :-)Andr

You don't want Airport 2000 Vol 3. I have a screaming system now and I am talk about 35-50 fps with all the sliders to the right and when I have this scenery installed, forget it, the fps probably go negative because they never break 0. I can't imagine what the new one is going to be like. I think it will horrible on frame rates, but we will have to see.
