hey there Alvin! I posted new light's for MEL's 747-400 when it first came out! If you did a search you will find my post! But since i see alot of guy's seem to have missed the post or for whatever reason i will post my fix here! This new light's i made adjusts the NAv light near the APU to be more in, as it was like floating off the body, and i also added a Strobe light by the APU area also like the real 747's! And i also made Strobes light's on the wings in the flexed position only! As u turn off the strobes when you land anyway, so it should work fine!! So i hope you enjoy this fix!! MIKE-:)Remeber to replace the "(" with the Sqaure brackets!!(LIGHTS)//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing light.0=3, -195.50, 0.00, 6.40, fx_navwhih ,light.1=1, -10.30, 0.00, 16.75, fx_beaconh ,light.2=1, -58.70, 0.00, -11.25, fx_beaconb ,light.3=2, -120.80,-102.95, 8.60, fx_strobeh ,light.4=2, -120.80, 102.95, 8.60, fx_strobeh ,light.5=2, -195.70, 0.00, 7.75, fx_strobeh ,

MikeI'll have to give it a `run'. Oh.. one thing, the MelJet is great but it bogs my hardware such as when switching from COCKPIT to SPOT VIEW, even with 512MB of RAM. Someday, will have to get a new 2GHz box..!!Gregory Abbey - Edwinnengineering

I concur!I get the same! In addition, I am also experiencing the bogging down every time I switch views - even my sound gets all messed up. It's scary because it gives the feeling that the system is going to crash. Maybe Mel will be able to fix this issue.Has someone found good vapour trails for the MelJet 744?Sincerely,Dennis D. Hmm very strange there guy's! As with these light's i posted it works fine on my planes!! Sure you dlelted the old light's section and paste my new ones in there!! What Air File are you guy's using? Are you using the PSS Panel and Air Files?? IF you are i have a diffrent set of light's for that combo, as for some reason using the PSS Panel and AIR FIle, the light's i made for Mel's one that I posted here does not work with the PSS Air File! SO let me know if you have the PSS Panel and Air File and I'll post the new light's for that combo here! If not I don't know what you did wrong to make the light's float like that on Mel's 747! As It works fine on my Plane with the light's i posted above! MIKE-:)
