Hi John,I ended up with the XMS2700C2 at 512mb and right now its running at 362mhz at CL2. :) Picked it up localy for $194, XMS3000 was a bit over the top for me at $260 though it would be nice, I dont think I would be getting any benefit from it on my current setup. hmm someone is selling some used XMS2700 might look into that. But his price is only $50 less than a brand new stick of XMS3000
