Have you notice in FSPainter AI Planes...

Recommended Posts

That if you try to fly them, when you put the spoilers on, or bank to sharp, the engines go into retro (only animation). I know hes done this for looks so when AI plane land then look like they are using Retro. But is there any way to stop this? Because it even does it mid air. I'm just wondering if its in the .air file or something that can be changed.Any help appreciatedBoback.

Boback,You can stop the reverse thrust deployment while banking sharply by going into the aircraft.cfg file and in the {airplane_geometry} section change the entry Min_ailerons_for_spoilerons=10 to =40. You will still get thrust reversal if you hit the air brakes, though.John

Thanks John, that will help :)very strange though, I had 2 version of the same FSPainter MD90. One was released on AVSIM by a repainter, and the other I got from FSPainters site. The one on AVSIM used the normal key for retros, but the FSpainter one deployed them when you used the air breaks. Exact same mdl file... RegardsBoback
