Hi All. I am looking at upgrading my current system and am looking at the following components:Motherboard: gigabyte 8XINPCPU: P4 3.061024 MB DDR Ram either PC2700 or PC3000Radon 9700 Pro 128 MBI will continue to use my present case (500W PS), Turtle Bay Santa Cruz sound card, 3 7200RPM HD, and WinXP Pro.Any comments, thoughts or suggestions appreciated.Thanks all,Ed Green, KCLThttp://www.panelshop.com/images/ELAL-350.jpg

Nice choices except the motherboard can only handle DDR 333 (2700) so don't waste money on DDR 400 (3200)

Just received my 8INXP a few days ago. Still waiting for my CPU and the 9800 to come out, so haven't installed it yet. What makes it interesting is the fact that the box it comes in, has a large Ad specifically stating that it supports the 9500 and 9700Pro series. Hope I don't have an expensive doorstop or frisbee.
