I've released Landclass Assistant 1.3

Recommended Posts

For those who don't visit the scenery design forum, I've released Landclass Assistant 1.3 (requires a previous installation of Landclass Assistant), which can be found in Avsim's library at this link:http://ftp.avsim.com/library/esearch.php?C...02sd&DLID=22790If you've never installed Landclass Assistant before, the setup program needs to be run prior to the 1.3 upgrade. Here's a link to the setup program:http://ftp.avsim.com/library/esearch.php?C...02sd&DLID=15721My main reason for this release was to make available to the public several enhancements I added at the request of Bob Brown (who recently, along with Joe Watson, came out with the great Florida Landclass Update). But I've also included an interface to FSUIPC, which allows one to slew around the borders of an area targeted for landclassing and "grab" from FS the lat/lon of specific points that outline your update. You can then mark the points by writing a landclass value to the .raw file, then "paint" your city using the new landclass paint feature (one of Bob's great suggestions).I hope folks enjoy this latest release--I hope it makes it easier for more to get involved in landclass updates. I've tried to make it less "rocket science", and more fun. Regards,John
