Not arbitrary Bob, but Intel is more expensive.I already have my budget for my new PC, 1700 USD$, which system do you recommend guys?Thanks in advance, and I really appreciate your answers.

FSX will require processing speed over anything else your computer has to offer. Intel is definitely stomping the daylights out of AMD right now. Many people are buying Intel's E6600 Core2, and then easily over-clocking it above 3.0GHZ. This means you can have processing speeds above 3.0GHZ for FSX, and Core2 technology for anything else that you may run, all for around $300. If you go this route, make sure you consider a good case designed around keeping everything cool.Just a thought.
