I like the 2d panel but I think the VC needs a more textured look to it.It's to flat to me. I was hoping it would look beat up.It is a 30 year old plane :) . Maybe it's just the angle of that shot .Let's see another :) Capt.Richard Dillon (KATL)www.jetstarairlines.comhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpghttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg"Lets Roll" 9/11 -----------------------Specs AMD 1600 XP MSI KT 266t pro2 512MB DDR 2100GF3 ti 200 64MB SBliveCh Products Yoke and Pedals(usb)Windows 2000 Serivce Pack 3

This Airplane is Iron Knuckles all the way. It has a V/C, but since flying heavy iron is all about pushing buttons and system management,I am not really sure how useful a VC really is anyway.Tadd GarciaFlight 1 Beta Tester

The old and beat up look is often just what we imagine should be seen, rather than reality. In fact, the photographs being used in the Dreamfleet 727 actually show a remakably clean and well kept cockpit, so much so, that I'm having to scratch and add wear and tear to the images myself! All the best,http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...BANNER_PAUL.jpg

The DC9 panel looks great, but I'm not a big fan on virtual cockpits (unless they look real). It's just my opinion, but I prefer realistic 2D shots, rather than square windows and square seats etc. Some aircraft models are just outstanding, but the virtual cockpit spoil the aircraft. Some of the virtual cockpits remind me of FS95 days, just a bunch of flat and square things.. :-lolI wished when aircraft designers sell aircraft, they give the buyer an option of a virtual cockpit, or no virtual cockpit..Just my two cents worth..Example, which cockpit view do you prefer?

I agree with you 100% on that!! Everyonme raves about how great a VC is, only if it is done right. I know it is very hard to design, so I would prefer a good 2D panel with side views over a less than realistic looking VC, just my thoughts! I agree the option would be good and also it might be easier for the designer .Michaelhttp://www.geocities.com/res052cd/cmhbanner.gif

A vc CAN be like your 2nd pic; fotoreal, if you know what I mean (captainsim 727; jan visser dc3). It just takes a dedicated aviation artist do do it right. Hard to find. And soon all switches will work. Then it's time for a vr helmet; be gone monitors and 2D displays!:~P

Nice looking bird, it's always been one of my favorite aircraft. The only thing that I see that is negative is that the alpha channel seems a bit strong. The Value Jet plane is so "glossy" that it's washed the blue and yellow colors out. Other than that, the model looks fantastic.Tim13

I hate VCs. They are not enough detailed, you can't move switches, you can't find the right view...I think that 2D panels are still the best solution. They offer sharp graphics and nice view.Nejc
