I'm trying to figure out how does the autopilot in the Beech and Cessna aircreaft in FS2002 work. I already made some short flights but I had to keep my hands in the commands at all time. Does anyone know a tutorial or something like that for these aircraft?Cheers!

Short lesson for simple two axis auto-pilot. Get to your altitude and heading, as well as being "trimmed" then hit the heading and altitude switches, along with the A/P "on" switch. Altitude can be farther adjusted with the up/down switch. Your direction of flight can be changed by moving your orange "heading" indicator pointer with the mouse. I honestly don't see why some people would like to manually steer while on auto-pilot, as moving the pointer works great. "Nav" can be used to head in the directions set on the OBS, or used to fly a GPS (flight plan) by changing a nav/gps switch located elsewhere.L.Adamson
