Corrupted File?

Hi,Whenever I download a file here, I save it to my desktop, then try unzipping it. However, it fails to unzip, and gives me a message "The compressed (zipped) folder is invalid or corrupted."What does this mean and how do I get my folder unzipped?Thanks,zachoe

Zachoe,My first reaction on this issue would be to say that the file is probally corrupt. When we post files we usually open the each zip archive for inspection, however this is not always the case especially if it is a very large file. We will then use the seperatly uploaded file description provided by the author and then post the file for downloading. Most of the time all of our files in the library are solid and in working order but one will occasionally slip through the cracks as it were.This being said, if you run accross this problem please let us know ASAP about the problem and the name of the file to library@avsim.com so we can then correct the problem in short order.Regards,Rick RossnerSr. Library ManagerAVSIM Onlinerick@avsim.com

Rick,I downloaded Winzip and I am now able to download all files properly.Thanks for your help,Zach
