Switching anti-aliasing on the fly?

Recommended Posts

Guest

I'm wondering if there is some way to hook anti-aliasing (either through FS2k2's settings or directly to my GeForce) to a keypress? I find myself switching off anti-aliasing when I'm around a busy airport, and it sure would be nice to do this in the fly.Anyone know of a clever way this can be accomplished? On another note, any recommendations on a good tweak utility for my GeforceTi-200? I have been using nvmax for eons but they quit working on that and it won't support the current drivers. Thanks!

I use Riva Tuner. You can get it at http://www.guru3d.com . The program is fantastic, and works great for me. I have an GF4 TI4600 with NVidias 41.09 drivers. As far as the other, I don't really know that you can do that. But, I very well could be mistaken...

I believe FSAssist 2002 from Lago can enable the user to assign keys to such operations. Randall

AFAIK AA only works in full screen mode so you could switch between windowed and full screen.Of course if this is wrong I'm sure someone will leap in and correct it :-)

I believe it's a very good idea to close all D3D programs before changing AA. Unless you want to uninstall screwed up programs. My vid card comes up with a warning "close all d3d programs before proceeding" whenever I change my AA.
