November 28, 200223 yr Both wake turbulence and clear air turbulence interest me. I believe it was mentioned that this was going to be in Active Sky's new release. Will it be in the 1st release, and will it be "felt" if one has Force Feedback joystick? Stan
November 28, 200223 yr Commercial Member Hi Stan,Yes! and, although I cannot confirm this by testing as I don't have a forcefeedback laying around, I am almost positive you will "feel" both of these effects. Any beta testers able to confirm that?-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxresmallbanner.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
November 29, 200223 yr >>Any beta testers able to confirm that?I don't know about feeling the turbulance but you can sure feel the effects! I myself in the Cessna and lined up behind an AI twin turbo and let him start his take off run. When he was half way down the rwy I followed him. I rotated & climbed about 80ft before being dumped, like a brick, back on the rwy!! Then I repeated the above but this time let the AI get off the deck & start climbing before I started my run. At about 150ft the stall warning went off & I was being bounced around with the (FFB) stick flighting me all the time, great fun!!
November 30, 200223 yr Author WOWThis new release can't be released soon enough for me. Please hurry. I look forward to what seems to be a very significant addon to MSFS. Stan
November 30, 200223 yr >>Please hurryIf we rush things then you may end up with a product that is not quite what it should be, I hope Damian takes a leaf out of the Radar Contact developers hand book...."Quality NOT Calendar"!>>...a very significant addon to MSFS.Oh Yes! This addon has the potential to far supass any of its competitors!
November 30, 200223 yr Author oh my God..............Let's do it then. Keep working until you feel you have it right. This product MAY be quite unbelieveable if what I'm reading is right. Stan
