Turbulence option active at FSUIPC 2.95 & Active Sky wx

Featured Replies

Hi Damian Clark, First of all, I would like to thanks to your next generationweather ActiveSky wxRE. This program make me feel like make a real& dynamic weather in flight simulator. Now I can get a very smoothwind, clouds & rain change at cross country flight. Great job! Over here, I only need your help to figure out the turbulenceissue. I follow your document come with download to active the"add random turbulence at clouds" at FSUIPC 2.95 Then I start up active sky wxRE & flight simulator. I take a cross country flight with DF737-400, I notice a turbulence can cause a little bumping when is heavy DF737 pass thru' clouds & like real. But when I take a small planes such as cessna C182, this small plane is totally out of control when pass thru' the clouds. I just need your help to answer, it's when every small plane pass thru the clouds will have such bumping status happened? or is my activeSky wxRE setting is not correct?.B/Regards...Alex Ooi

Maybe I can help. In FSUIPC there is a spot to adjust the turbulence strength. I can't look it up right now because I am burning a music CD. By default I think it is set at 7. Try lowering this number when flying smaller aircraft.
