Why no wake turbulence, even though option checked in F

Hi,The reason you occasionally may not experience turbulence depends on many factors, including wind, random instances and intensities, size of aircraft, etc. Sometimes you simply won't enter the wake trail or it will be 'too weak'. This is by design mostly but does has some limitations in certain circumstances, especially if you have many aircraft nearby (only one closest aircraft can be computed). During testing, turbulence was "noticed" over 70% of the time ideal wake encounder conditions were simulated. Another thing that may be happening is your turbulencescale factor in fs2002 config may need to be bumped up a bit (if you've lowered it) to better notice this effect.Of course ongoing work continues to make this even more realistic and support multiple aircraft. I suggest trying out this feature in the pattern at a busy airport with a c172 (or smaller) aircraft to really see it in action. You should be able to notice wake all around the pattern if you position yourself accordingly. Thank you very much! In fact, I did get very strange +/- 20-50 knots changes in airspeed around KBOS as I did a quick low circle around all of the runways, but there was no traffic. Wind was 250@13, no gusts. So, I guess that I experienced it. I did not turn down turbulence in .cfg, so, it should be ok. Thanks, Christopher
