PSS A340 - Airspeed up n'down

Recommended Posts

Guest A386

Hello, flyin the PSS A340 I noticed that sometimes the Airspeed drops or goes high about +/- 10, even 20, resulting in a near Stall or Overspeed condition within a second. Independent of the flightlevel. Could happen at 3000 ft or at FL350.It feels like the airplane was hit hard by something.Others have the same problem ?FS2004ActiveSky wxRE 1.90.94b

It has been said that wind transitions are not real smooth. In the pay version of FSUIPC you can adjust for this.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Support

Sorry, but I have the pay version of FSUIPC (latest version) and you cannot adjust for this. Setting the wind tranistion around your aircraft to something as low as 1 will not help. This is due to you flying from one local metar station to the next metar station and the aloft winds being different from one station to the next. Only way to cure it per Damien is to wait for version 2.0 which apparently will have a feature to smooth the aloft winds along the rte of flt.
