Destination forced not working and invalid METARS B174

Recommended Posts

With the latest build I'm having issues with forced destination weather. It seems that it's not working until about 4-5 miles out on final or after landing. This is even more obvious with bad weather and limited visibility METARs.I'm also seeing more invalid METARs. Yesterday I was flying in the UK with some lousy weather and I was getting invalid weather, so there was no weather, it was all nice and clear, even though the METAR for the area was overcast, rain, etc.My setupFS2004 with a registered version of FSUIPC version 3.45//AS2004.5 configuration file B174[General]WindowPosX = 5160WindowPosY = 5205DefaultWeatherFolder = E:FS2004ModulesActiveSky2004SuppressionCeiling = 4000SurfaceWindLimit = 5CloudLayerLimit = 5LocalSuppressionRange = 150MinimumVisibility = 0MaximumVisibility = 59LastPlanFolder = C:Documents and SettingsJuanchoMy DocumentsFlight Simulator FilesIncreasedWake = FalseDisableWindsAloft = FalseForceTstormsWithCB = FalseAutoConvertPlanFiles = TrueDisableVisGraduation = FalseForceDestinationWeatherZone = TruePreventIcing = TrueOnlineUpdates = TrueExtendedDestinationWindsForce = TrueDisableAllGroundUpdates = TrueGlobalWrites = TrueDepictFS9HazeLayer = FalseExtendTstormLayers = FalseDisableDirectWindControl = FalseVoicePlayback = FalseLocalSuppression = TrueStartupSound = FalseDisableGroundUpdates = TrueUseProxyServer = FalseFogLayerGeneration = TrueUpdateSuppression = TrueOvercastEnhancement = TrueIgnoreFSReadyStatus = FalseFSUIPCWindSmoothing = TrueLimitSurfaceWinds = TrueLimitCloudLayers = TrueAutoGlobalWriteToggle = TrueRainWithTS = TrueDisableUpperLayerGeneration = TrueVisibilitySmoothing = TrueDisableMessages = FalseAutoTimeZoneDetection = TrueUpdateInterval = 60VATSIMData = FalseZuluConversion = -5AloftPredictability = 100WindDriftRate = 0TAFProcessing = FalseEnforceVisibilityLimits = TrueWakeTurb = FalseStartPaused = FalseUseSystemTime = TrueDisableCAVOKClouds = TrueProxyAddress = NONEFSUIPC[General]History=OQVJEZOWHRXVYZOE591LITCASid=FlightTCASrange=40TrafficScanPerFrame=10AxisCalibration=NoCentredDialogue=NoClearWeatherDynamics=YesOwnWeatherChanges=NoWeatherReadInterval=4MoveBGLvariables=YesMainMenu=&ModulesSubMenu=&FSUIPC ...WindSmoothing=YesWhiteMessages=NoThrottleSyncAll=NoGraduatedVisibility=NoLowerVisAltitude=6000UpperVisAltitude=25000UpperVisibility=6000GenerateCirrus=YesWindShearSharp=NoUpperWindGusts=NoExtendMetarMaxVis=NoPatchSimApAlt=YesAutoClearWeather=YesExtendTopWind=YesWindSmoothness=1SmoothPressure=NoPressureSmoothness=5SmoothVisibility=YesVisibilitySmoothness=2MaxSurfaceWind=0WindLimitLevel=200WindDiscardLevel=400WindAjustAltitude=NoWindAjustAltitudeBy=2000MinimumVisibility=0MaximumVisibilityFewClouds=0MaximumVisibility=0MaximumVisibilityOvercast=0MaximumVisibilityRainy=0OneCloudLayer=NoThinClouds=NoThinThunderClouds=NoCloudThinness=1000ThunderCloudThinness=10000CloudTurbulence=NoCloudIcing=NoWindTurbulence=NoSuppressAllGusts=NoExternalOptionControl=YesAutoTuneADF=NoKeepFS98CloudCover=NoShowPMcontrols=NoMagicBattery=NoRudderSpikeRemoval=NoElevatorSpikeRemoval=NoAileronSpikeRemoval=NoReversedElevatorTrim=NoTrapUserInterrupt=YesNavFreq50KHz=NoClockSync=NoSmoothIAS=YesSetVisUpperAlt=NoVisUpperAltLimit=6000MaxIce=3SuppressCloudTurbulence=NoSuppressWindTurbulence=NoSpoilerIncrement=512ShortAircraftNameOk=NoFixWindows=NoFixControlAccel=NoAutoTaxiWind=NoDisconnTrimForAP=NoWindSmoothingDelay=0WindSmoothAirborneOnly=YesVisSmoothingDelay=0VisSmoothAirborneOnly=NoZeroElevForAPAlt=NoTimeForSelect=4I don't remember having this issue with the previous version. Thanks!

1. Most definitely processing the flightplan through AS. I'm also clearing the FS weather before loading AS and processing the flighplan.2. In the METAR box it says invalid METAR and then it shows what appears to be a METAR.

Ok I did the same flight again. Here are a couple of screenshots:http://www.cpavirtual.org/Files/AS2004/AS2004.jpg&http://www.cpavirtual.org/Files/AS2004/AS200402.jpgHere's the .dat filehttp://www.cpavirtual.org/Files/AS2004/20050222-17Z.datOnce again the destination weather at EGLL wasn't implemented until I was 200 feet above the runway. I also recorded a movie so you can see this. I can send it to you if you want.
