FSUIPC settings w/Activesky wxRE for MSFS2004

Recommended Posts

Guest 444pilot

I noticed that the manual that comes with Activesky wxRE software only referes to the proper FSUIPC settings for MSFS2002. I have a registered copy of FSUIPC 3.411. What are the proper tab options and settings (winds, visibility, clouds, technical etc) for MSFS2004. Is there a link that I can go to to view this?I noticed also that the weather (cloud formations and dissipation)changes rather abruptly from time to time. Finally, I don't really experience the animated cockpit effects of wind shear, wake turbulence either.Any help would be appreciated.:-)

Hello and Welcome! The weather defaults in FSUIPC are best.Seeing that wxRE was designed for FS2002 there are some limitations such as weather changes. Make sure the Use FS2004 Weather Writes option is checked On.Wind shear is not modeled in any of our programs.Wake turbulence does not have an animated cockpit effect. Not sure what you mean by that!Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
