*sigh**shakes head**laffs*Good grief pilot guru. You'd better check your undergarments! Anyways, the shots Paul took were pretty, but don't seem realistic, to me that is. Each to his own though. Those last two, the new ones, especially the sunset, once again, are pretty, but there seems to be a lack of haze amongst the clouds, which I get now with AS2004.5. I will probably end up getting ASV because I really like the idea of it all being combined, plus as Damian said, or at least I think he meant, that still pics don't always convey what you experience on the fly.You guys haven't let anyone down that I can think of when it comes to your past accomplishments with Active Sky and AS2004.5, so I'm not expecting to be disappointed. I was just conveying that I hope I won't be getting basically the same thing w/ a few added bells and whistles. Then I thoroughly read what you have on your home page, and I am looking forward to trying out ASV.Sorry if I got anyone's nose out of joint.

HI CS Lewis,"but there seems to be a lack of haze amongst the clouds, which I get now with AS2004.5. "The problems with static screenshots, it is imposssible to see what's is in the metar condition, visibility, clouds formation etc.See these 2 first pic, they are from real world. If we make them in fs2004, there is many will told, completly unrealistic and saturated, I never see this in my life, the color and even in the groundwater is saturated and it's look like crap etc :-lol.. The Real problems is, if we don't saw this or don't know about it at all, many will never know, they will tell anything only from what's they have seen in their life and not from what's it look like in the entire world with all factor and condition, many things others. Real Actual World Pic. Many will told us if it was in fs2004, they are completly unrealistic sky and groundwater color.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/119057.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/119058.jpgASVAE sunset (not related to the pic from above), there is overs 300 sky set in ASV.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/119064.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/119065.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/119066.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/119062.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/119063.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/119059.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/119060.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/119061.jpg ThanksChris WillisHiFi Simulation Software Team Developerhttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004betateam.jpgFreeware Addons for FSW GROUP

WOW! Those two (FS pics) of the zoomed out sunset are absolutely stunning.I am one of those individuals who have never seen a sunset on the ocean...in fact, I've yet to see the ocean in real life (I know, I know...sad, sad. No I'm not in my teens, not even my twenties...past that. Yes I know...now it's even sadder). But I have seen sunsets here, and have seen them when there are clouds yet the atmosphere seems clearer. Yet even in those r/l pics you'll notice the sky is kind of hazy. In fact, that's what gives you a beautiful sunset is the sun's rays' filtering through and bouncing off the haze. I agree, it is more realistic to have cloud filled skies and a seemingly clearer atmosphere, and times when there is a prevalent haze amongst the clouds, like when a storm is brewing. Most of the pics I see even at the website the clouds all look like little bunches crammed together, and you can see gaps and outlines, whereas, when I took those pics when I was flying there was a haze that made all the clouds into one moving front. I'm guessing ASV will do that too, just a shot hasn't been taken of clouds w/ the haze effect on, or in a brewing storm, or w/ the rain falling. Or maybe I've just missed enlarging a shot or two, there's so many of them.I'm sure ASV will give me those wispy, hazy, cloud fronts and storms that AS2004.5 generates. And yeah I know, hard to get it out of your head that I haven't seen the ocean in r/l yet.And btw. C.S. Lewis is who said my quote. That's not me. I'm "flight".
