Hi,1. That will work.2. No, you can still use a FP, but instead of manuallly putting in the airport codes, speed and altitude, use the Import button in the bottom left. A browser style window will open. I noticed something similar--without a flight plan (simply entering the departure and destination airports) produces incorrect winds aloft data for DKGG? (this was NOT the case with version 4.5)--however, by going into fs9 and creating a dummy flight plan and then importing in AS generates the winds aloft--this occurs when fs9 is connected--this is not as useful for those using flight plans NOT in fs9 format, e.g. LDS 767--I appreciate some feedback on this issue--thanks for a great product-- Robert

Hi Robert,I will explain my procedure for flight plans in case it's of any use to you.I fly the LDS a lot. Importantly for this operation I also own FSBuild. I am not sure if the freeware version will alow you to do this, but here's my proc.First I open FSbuild and plan my flight. I then export to my chosen aircraft AND FS2004.Then I run ASV, and import the FS2004 plan I just created. This is great for the ICS cloud selection ( where FS cannot be running ).Once ASV has finished it's ICS thing, I run FS2004, and go fly...Not sure if this is helpful, but it works for me...Cheers,Paul
