Fixed Night, Fixed sunset, .... ???

Recommended Posts

I am not sure the logic in AE behind selecting the sky type. I understand that you can only select one daytime sky, etc but I don't understand what night sky has to do with the daytime variation. For example I like to have the darkest possible night sky - I noticed that "Fixed night"/01 gives me a fairly dark night but why I can't then select some daytime variation to go together with it? They seem to be mutually exclusive. I can select "Fixed Night" or "Fixed Day Clear" but not both. As a counter-example in the category "Environment" I can simultaneously select different snow, VC rain, runway lights or the Moon - works as I would expect (there are still problems because I can select multiple snows, etc.). So what's the story with the sky selection?Sorry for not detecting this issue during the beta (if there is an 'issue').Michael J.WinXP-Home SP2,AMD64 3500+,Abit AV8,Radeon X800Pro,36GB Raptor,1GB PC3200,Audigy 2http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/747400.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_beta_member.jpg

Hi, 1)In the the AE interface, all category selection are in blue highlighted after you have submited and they remain highlighted until you close ASV2) They are saved into the Autosave (Theme Area), if you load them, they will be all highlithed, than you can save them as your theme name with your description.ThanksChris WillisHiFi Simulation Software Team Developerhttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpgFreeware Addons for FSW GROUP

Understood, but if I followed your One fixed day + press submit buttonOne fixed night + press submit buttonOne fixed dawn + press submit buttonOne fixed sunset + press submit buttonprocedure, wouldn't it only have the fixed sunset highlighted? Mind you, this isn't a big deal in the scope of things.BMBanister

Hi, "procedure, wouldn't it only have the fixed sunset highlighted? "yes only one, what's we can do with update, is to do a complete Sky type called: Complete Set, that's will have all, day, sunset, dawn night and all these sky type will appears on ONE variation, we will able to select 4 variation at the same time like the existant environment category method.ThanksChris WillisHiFi Simulation Software Team Developerhttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpgFreeware Addons for FSW GROUP
