Greetings, I've been having some problems with ASV, and they got worse when I uninstalled AS2004.5. I have a couple of questions. First do I need to have AS2004.5 installed after I've installed the upgrade? A follow-up on that is do I always have to keep my old AS2004 and AS2004.5 in order to reinstall the ASV upgrade. Second question, is it possible ASV and AS2004.5 interfere with each other causing me to not be able to change op[tions in my ASV options menu i.e. the default cloud thickness previously discussed in an earlier post. I really enjoy the added realism ASV provides and hope to be able to take advantage of its features. I thank you in advance for your assistance. P.S. I also get this error when I start ASVhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/122269.jpgv/rTodd

Hi Todd,1. No, AS2004/2004.5 can be removed.2. No, because in a separate directory you have the full install for the future. You need to find the full install version on your hd and run it and choose Repair. You are missing some common files that were removed when you removed AS2004.5.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
