Hey. Im new to ASV and these forums so excuse me if this has been brought up. I just got ASV and i have Flight Environment on my computer before i put ASV on. Is there a way to get both to work together or do i just have to pick one or the other to use. If thats the case do i need to uninstall Flight Environment to get ASV to work correctly? I have not used ASV yet the install file is just sitting on my desktop waiting.... Thanks for the helpIt looks like an awsome programJustin

Hi,Thanks for the purchase! Yes, you can use both programs together. You will run FE first and set your textures up and submit them to FS04. Next, FE can be closed down. Then you will start ASVE and use it for your weather. Hi Justin,Welcome to ActiveSky!You can use FE fine alongside ASV... There are several different categories of textures (i.e. cloud, sky) and you can selectively submit with ASV which categories to update. So the best bet is to load your textures with FE first, then submit ASV textures as desired.For ASV's AE startup mode, Random or ICS will automatically submit a completely new texture set each time ASV is run, so disable this (use Random Mode) if you want to force FE cloud/sky textures.Best,

OK so what i get now is if i use ASV before the flight the textures would load up and show ASV textures, but if i disable the ICS and Cloud Generation FE would show. So if i load a flight with ASV and still use ICS and Cloud Generation, would it show ASV or FE clouds. Cause im not sure whats better I do really like ASV. And also what about sky color and sunrise sunset textures. Would i be seeing ASV or FE?Thanks for all the replies i appricate your help.Justin

Hi,In your question you would see the ASV textures for clouds and sky. At this point you can use all FE, all ASV, or a mix of the two. I know it will not be easy deciding between everything.
