lack of writing from AS6.5 to fs9

HiI now have a problem with AS: After flying for a while fs seems to loose contact to AS. Even if I clear all weather with FSUIPC and download new scenery it doesnt always work (sometimes it does, and the problem doesnt occur all the time).For instance: I see the metar for the closest station report - it says cloudy. On the left side of fs it says few cloud (in the decoded sector) but in fs its all clear.thanks for a great product excpet this//ASv6.5 configuration file Build 551[General]WindowPosX = -60WindowPosY = 465DefaultWeatherFolder = C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9ModulesASv6SuppressionCeiling = 10000SurfaceWindLimit = 10FS9Path = C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9PersonalAppDataFolder = C:UsersmartinAppDataRoamingCloudLayerLimit = 3LocalSuppressionRange = 100MinimumVisibility = 0MaximumVisibility = 59LastPlanFolder = C:UsersmartinDocumentsFlight Simulator FilesAutoVasFrequency = 30AutoVasStrength = 30TurbulenceFrequency = DefaultStartupLocation = EKCHDefaultGraphicsFullTheme = Random AllDefaultGraphicsCirrusTheme = Random AllAutoSubmitGraphicsTheme = TrueIncreasedWake = FalseDisableWindsAloft = FalseForcePrimaryServer = FalseForceSecondaryServer = FalseGEProAutoSubmit = FalseUseFetchedStationforGEPro = FalseShowDecodedMBasDecimal = FalseSkyOverride = GEPROFavorCumulus = FalseForceRoutePressure = FalseForceLowestCeiling = TrueUnpauseOnReadyStatus = FalseDisableWriteThrottle = FalseDisableProcessThrottle = FalseForceTstormsWithCB = TrueAutoSetFSTime = TrueIgnoreFSLocationUntilReady = TrueAutoConvertPlanFiles = TrueAutoRefreshAI = TrueDisableVisGraduation = FalseEnableGEProWideFSMode = FalseExtendedThrottling = FalseForceRouteAloftTemp = FalseOfflinePlayback = FalseEnableVAS = TrueAutoGenVAS = TrueForceDestinationWeatherZone = FalsePreventIcing = TrueOnlineUpdates = TrueExtendedDestinationWindsForce = FalseDisableAllGroundUpdates = TrueGlobalWrites = TrueDepictFS9HazeLayer = FalseExtendTstormLayers = TrueDisableDirectWindControl = FalseVoicePlayback = FalseLocalSuppression = TrueStartupSound = TrueDisableGroundUpdates = FalseUseProxyServer = FalseFogLayerGeneration = TrueUpdateSuppression = TrueOvercastEnhancement = TrueIgnoreFSReadyStatus = FalseFSUIPCWindSmoothing = TrueLimitSurfaceWinds = FalseLimitCloudLayers = TrueAutoGlobalWriteToggle = TrueRainWithTS = TrueDisableUpperLayerGeneration = FalseVisibilitySmoothing = TrueDisableMessages = TrueAutoTimeZoneDetection = TrueUpdateInterval = 10VATSIMData = TrueZuluConversion = 2AloftPredictability = 100WindDriftRate = 0MaxCloudThickness = 10000MinStratusSeparation = 7000TAFProcessing = FalseEnforceVisibilityLimits = TrueWakeTurb = TrueStartPaused = FalseUseSystemTime = TrueDisableCAVOKClouds = FalseProxyAddress = NONE

thanks for quick answer.I did not work to change the suppression ceiling. I have the problem right now : I am at the airport and the metar says broken cloud. I fs its all clear but temperature and wind is correct. Then I redownload and the fs-weather changes angain (but the same metar)....if I do it once again I get yet a third kind of cloud layer. Would there be any manual for AS that explains the whole thing ? Like what the diferent parts of the options section means ? I cant find it within the download.thanks

Sorry - I have been looking for a manual for long time and its right there in front of my nose ;). Thanks a lot.I tried to do what you suggest but I cant see the difference. The strange thing is there is no compatibility between the AS weather shown on the AS frontpage and the weather I see in fs (sometimes there is)

reading the manual now - could it have to do with the Wx-Influenced Themes ? (a least while in the air )The manual says: "Custom themes with individual Wx-Influenced items can be created by manually editing the .thm to include the

Hi,Let's not get into that just yet.I want to know more about your weather not matching up. Please post a specific METAR you are getting in AS, and then tell me what you see in FS. Also include whether you are on the ground or flying around.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/

ok, here is one which is actually different since here are more clouds than the metar says:SBFZ 021800Z 13016KT 9999 FEW020 28/21 Q1013In fs I see several cloud layers, the top one stratus overcast but its quite thin so I can see through some places. In the fs weather category it says clear for the sbfz station but the wind and temp is correct.Sorry about my english but I hope you understand

here is it typically:SBPF 021600Z 15012KT 3000 -RA SCT003 OVC010 11/10 Q1022In fs its just completely clear, and the fs weather doesnt have any information about the station, except clear, 15 degrees and no wind.

Hiand thanks for your support :) Not every salesman would take such good care of the customers.Anyway - I just flew a long haul from nzaa to sfko without any problem for the first time. the only thing I changed was from from 256*256 clouds to 512*512 clouds. But why should that make any change. I am afraid it makes the performance lower even though it does look right now. But again, skuld it not work with 256*256 ?here you have a cooy://ASv6.5 configuration file Build 551[General]WindowPosX = -60WindowPosY = 465DefaultWeatherFolder = C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9ModulesASv6SuppressionCeiling = 10000SurfaceWindLimit = 10FS9Path = C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9PersonalAppDataFolder = C:UsersmartinAppDataRoamingCloudLayerLimit = 3LocalSuppressionRange = 100MinimumVisibility = 0MaximumVisibility = 59LastPlanFolder = C:UsersmartinDocumentsFlight Simulator FilesAutoVasFrequency = 30AutoVasStrength = 30TurbulenceFrequency = 50DefaultStartupLocation = ekchDefaultGraphicsFullTheme = DefaultGraphicsCirrusTheme = AutoSubmitGraphicsTheme = FalseIncreasedWake = FalseDisableWindsAloft = FalseForcePrimaryServer = FalseForceSecondaryServer = FalseGEProAutoSubmit = FalseUseFetchedStationforGEPro = TrueShowDecodedMBasDecimal = FalseSkyOverride = GEPROFavorCumulus = FalseForceRoutePressure = FalseForceLowestCeiling = FalseUnpauseOnReadyStatus = FalseDisableWriteThrottle = FalseDisableProcessThrottle = FalseForceTstormsWithCB = FalseAutoSetFSTime = TrueIgnoreFSLocationUntilReady = TrueAutoConvertPlanFiles = TrueAutoRefreshAI = TrueDisableVisGraduation = FalseEnableGEProWideFSMode = FalseExtendedThrottling = FalseForceRouteAloftTemp = FalseOfflinePlayback = FalseEnableVAS = TrueAutoGenVAS = TrueForceDestinationWeatherZone = FalsePreventIcing = TrueOnlineUpdates = FalseExtendedDestinationWindsForce = FalseDisableAllGroundUpdates = FalseGlobalWrites = TrueDepictFS9HazeLayer = FalseExtendTstormLayers = TrueDisableDirectWindControl = FalseVoicePlayback = TrueLocalSuppression = TrueStartupSound = TrueDisableGroundUpdates = FalseUseProxyServer = FalseFogLayerGeneration = TrueUpdateSuppression = TrueOvercastEnhancement = TrueIgnoreFSReadyStatus = TrueFSUIPCWindSmoothing = TrueLimitSurfaceWinds = FalseLimitCloudLayers = TrueAutoGlobalWriteToggle = TrueRainWithTS = TrueDisableUpperLayerGeneration = FalseVisibilitySmoothing = TrueDisableMessages = TrueAutoTimeZoneDetection = TrueUpdateInterval = 10VATSIMData = TrueZuluConversion = 2AloftPredictability = 100WindDriftRate = 0MaxCloudThickness = 10000MinStratusSeparation = 7000TAFProcessing = FalseEnforceVisibilityLimits = TrueWakeTurb = FalseStartPaused = FalseUseSystemTime = TrueDisableCAVOKClouds = FalseProxyAddress = NONE
