Project AI vs AI-Aardvark best AI planes

Hi,Just wondering what is the better aircraft to use as AI based on frame rate friendly as well as the best looking and most realistic out of the Project AI models and the new AI-Aardvark planes?What do you think

Personally I use the Aardvark DC9s as Project AI dont use those ones.The newer Project AI 737 models are nice looking also but I think they might have more polygons so they are slightly better looking.Its down to personal choice at the end of the day.Some people like having more realistic looking AI planes with good repaints and some people like having planes that dont make the airport you fly into like a slideshow.FS Painter planes are lovely and detailed and I have a few of those on my PC, mainly the 747-200 model as Project AI didnt do those.I personally try and find what is available at the time and also doesnt affect the frame rates so much. As Project AI didnt have a DC9-30 model Im using Aardvarks and very nice it is too. I havent looked at the 737s yet because something new with AI is coming out every day and it just so hard keeping up and changing things.I remember seeing a good thread on the Project AI website about Aardvarks AI planes and might be good reading for you if you fancy checking it out.Anyway, hope you find what you are looking for.Craig Kiltie

Just my 2 cents: while some details on the Aardvark planes are more rough (shape of wheels, shape of engines), the overall appearance (IMO) is much better. I would say that Aardvark uses shapes more effectively than the PAI planes. Because they only have one modle of the 737 and DC-9 (maybe 5-10% of my AI fleet) I really haven't seen an improvement yet in my frames - just an improvement in appearance.This isn't meant to be a knock on PAI - those folks have done great things for AI. But a little competition is a great thing!

I use PAI for all of my Ai except for my DC-9's right now. The Aardvard ones are nice and seem to be in the same class performance wise.Tim
