Known issue, probably more related to the fact that FSX lives on the edge. In other words, you spend so much time getting the FPS out of the basement and it doesn't take much to knock 'em down at this early stage of a new FS version. I'm sure Damian and Pete Dowson (FSUIPC) are doing everthing in their power to lessen the hit. My personal guess, it'll take a combination of improvements to both AS and FSUIPC as well as a FSX update before it completely goes away. Make sure you adjust the "supression ceiling" altitude in the AS options page as necessary to automatically turn off AS writes during final approach, below the set altitude.Good luck.

Hi again,Has there been any updates on this problem? Or better yet a solution. :) I still have the issue making AS6 almost unusable on my client. There was a suggestion to load AS6.5 on my FSX box, but I cannot switch programs via alt tab or anything else. Meaning I have no way to get to AS6 after starting FSX. Thanks in advance.Bob..
