Hi, Jim1) since being a supporter of both ActiveSky and RadarContact I took off the latter's banner and added my own supporter's option (fair enough)2) Unfortunately, brasilian WindowsXP Pro (portuguese-written) creates Documents and SettingsEduMy docs folder (where both FS9 and FSX save their flights) but creates Documents and SettingsEduAppDataMicrosoftFS... (where essentials to both flightsims are, including wxstations) too.3) I'm running both sims in widefs config so the trouble worsen (but i'm getting some experience over it)4) Edit AppData line pointing to FS9: I run FS9 (wideserver) then run in sequence WideFS (wideclient), ASv6.5 then close all5) Edit again AppData pointing this time to FSX: do the same as 4)If #4 and #5 are correct, will this update wxstations wherever their specific app folders are?6) Or do I unistall ASv6.5 from wideclient and begin from scratch?ThanksEduardo

Right now, I have ASV6 installed on my primary PC as well as on another PC that can work with WideFS.As of now, both FS9 and FSX works with ASV6. I didn't have to do anything special. I keep the AS6 running all the time on my second PC. When I load FS9, it hooks to the AS6 and when I load FSX, It hooks to AS6.So,,,what exactly does the new version provide? I don't have Ground Env Pro (I have the regular Ground Env). I looked for features list on your website.. but didn't see any.Mannyedited to add: Downloaded it and reading the Readme file for the information that I wanted.

Had FS9 in drive D, FSX in drive E and both run okay but after a while FS9 didn't run anymore. And I didn't uninstall FSX1) Did you uninstall FS9 that wasn't running (Control panel/AddRem) or you just run the setup.exe overwriting its original folders?2) after the reinstall of FS9 does it run okay? where did you save it, in the same drive as FSX or other drive?3) don't I need to backup microsoft games registry key (including both FS9/FSX keys) too, because if FSX uninstaller removes all the keys where will I put FS9 registry key?ThanksEduardo

The step of backing up the registry key is no longer needed. But you do it by selecting the key and then selecting export from the menu options. The Folks at Flight1 has released a free tool for this. This was posted somewhere here on another commercial forum. This will solved many problems.here is the link http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library
