Nope. They are still working on finishing the B-25. Only once that is done will they turn the attention back to the DC-3. Might still be a while..... :-outta Francois :-wave

"At home in the wild"[link:avsim.com/alaska/alaska_052.htm]Don's Alaskan Bush Charters]"Beavers Lead the Way"[br]
http://bfu.avsim.net/sigpics/logo75b.gifhttp://www.fssupport.com/images/moose2.gif
[/table

Just like the real MAAM R4D, it's grounded for the moment! As Francois says, maybe Jan and the team will finish it after the B-25 is released. Unless Jan starts on the Connie that he's been threatening to do!RegardsTim

:(Oh well... I was hoping to use it for my next round-the-world trip I'm currently planning, but I guess I'll use the freeware dc3 I got here, if I can get the fuelstatus gauge to work in XP sp1 or find a suitable replacement..... Which leads me to ask..... Is there a fixed version of the fuelstatus gauge available that works with WinXP sp1 yet?

I found this string by searching for "B-25"!My question-- Are any World War II bomber models available for use in FS2002? I'm helping introduce an Air Force veteran of that war to flight sim, and it turns out he flew the B-17, B-24, etc.Sounds like (from this thread) the B-25 is still "in process"...Thanks --Larry H.

Short answer, Larry ... yes. I have a few B17s and fourteen B24s, being my favourite; I also have a vet friend who flew thirty missions before his plane was shot down. Here it is, painted up for him specifically in FS2002 ... leaving the British coast and then at night over Germany, mission 31.http://www.swiremariners.com/wurf3.jpghttp://www.swiremariners.com/wurf2.jpgIn other words, start searching!Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo2.jpg

http://www.avhistory.org/I believe these are designed with the intent for the CFS series, but the aircraft do work great in MSFS. And quite a few of them come with panel/sounds as well.

Thanks a lot-- I found and downloaded the B-17E and B-25H files at avhistory.org!--Larry H
