May 6, 200719 yr Hi Alex,No, not right now. But, with the new weather map, you will be able to quickly see weather conditions.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
May 6, 200719 yr This is great news for the minority using FSX...any news for the majority using FS9? Eric
May 6, 200719 yr Commercial Member Hi Alex,You get to visually locate weather in ASX (out to 3000nm zoom level), which makes the wx finder a bit obsolete. That said, a new report-based wx finding tool similar to ASv6 is being considered but not sure this will make release.Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
May 6, 200719 yr Hi Eric,We'll see what the future holds!Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
May 6, 200719 yr Author >This is great news for the minority using FSX...any news for>the majority using FS9?I'm sure you meant to say "This is great news for those using FSX...any news for those of us still using FS9?"seeing as none of us have any real idea which is the majority and which the minority. ;-) :-)
May 6, 200719 yr As usual you guys are ahead and well organized. What will happen to the way AS6.5 interacts with FSX after installing ASX?In other words can we keep them separate and run both sims as usual without AS6 loading weather into FSX? Hope I explained that properly :-)For me I will certainly buy the new version if FSX SP1 delivers good enough improvements in performance. Thanks again to the team, great supportBill
May 6, 200719 yr CONGRATULATIONS !!!!Looks like you guys stepped up to the plate... BIG TIME.cheersGreg
May 6, 200719 yr Hi Bill,Let see here!!For FS04 you will still be able to run ASv6.For FSX you will be able to run ASv6, ASX, and FSXE.I think that is what you were asking about!Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
May 6, 200719 yr Thanks, Jim and Damian. That sounds even better than the Weather Finder.I just looked at the screenshots. The map looks incredible.Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
May 6, 200719 yr Will FSbuild be able to take data from it aswell? ie. what it outputs is the same as it does now, or will ernie have to make changes to fsbuild to make it work for planning?James Carr(EGBB ATCO)
May 6, 200719 yr Hi James,Seeing that this is all new, I would say that changes will need to be made.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
May 6, 200719 yr Hi Alex,Glad you like it!! If you have a second screen for viewing, it it very cool.Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/

May 6, 200719 yr Wonderful, wonderful news about one of flight simulation's most useful products. :-) Congratulations, Damian, Jim and team! I'm looking forward to this one (or should I say two).
May 6, 200719 yr Hi Bill,Everything will be separate. The way to disable ASv6 is not to run it at the same time as ASX.Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
