Hi Mace,If your video card has a second video out socket; most do. Then I just extend my desktop onto the second monitor. Yes, I need to run FSX in Windowed Mode. Then I drag ASX onto the second screen. If I need more space then I run MaxiVista for my 2 laptop screens. Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/

Hi guys ! it looks AMAZING !! I will buy this the moment it comes out !. I got one question though will this product behave better when flying over big seas like the atlantic ocean?? in the earlier versions it gets kinda bad over water. Kind Regards,Alexander

Jim,I know you guys are terribly busy, but could you feed Ernie the prerequisites for ASX weather import to FSB, before the official release date? Since it doesn't usually take Ernie long to output a patch for FSB, it would help when ASX hits the streets. Maybe just a simple e-mail to him outlining the data structure differences from old to new.Just trying to think ahead; is all...

Damian,For someone who just want's to download and on the fly, sim in real weather, what has your product got that makes it different form the FSMeteo's and others out in the market place at the moment.I will admit to being a long time FSMeteo user with it's simple and pretty much singular task, and was wondering that now i'm an FSX only simmer, if this is the time to change, and if your product is the one to change to.Any information you may provide will be much appreciated. With thanks,Chris Porter:-outtaPerthWestern AustraliaIntel Core 2 Duo E6700ASUS P5N32-E SLI Deluxe Motherboard4GB Corsair VS DDR2 667Mhz RAMInno3D 8800 GTX 768MB GDDR3 590MHz VideoASUS MW221u 21" Wide Screen LCD2 x 320Gb WD SATA DrivesCreative X-Fi Platinum Sound Lian Li PC-B20B Aluminium Black CaseMS Vista Ultimate OEMCH FlightSim Yoke USBCH Pro Pedals USBTrackIR 4 Pro and Track ClipMSFS FSX Deluxe Edition Full install at 1400x960x32Check out my 5th Around the World flight with MS FSX at http://members.iinet.com.au/~portercbp/fly...W_05/index.html

Hi Chris! Thanks for considering ASX. Well I would say the most important difference is the level of depth of data processing, synthesis and depiction. This is similar to ASv6 (we've got some good reviews up that get into details) but expanded significantly of course for ASX.AS technology has always been focused on real downloads and we've got a pretty neat server data collection system that gives you more coverage including real forecast data winds aloft for 1x1 lat/lon global resolution. We've also got inserted (into database) and virtually created (on the fly) weather stations that further improve depiction resolution and coverage.I don't think other products offer anything like this or many of the other features. In short we've really been working hard on weather simulation features for years now and this is a culmination of all that experience and effort. From the online mode features to everything else it's got quite a bit of stuff packed in :)Hope that answers some of your questions!Best,

Sounds great to me! I'm one of those who's happy with FSX as it is so it can only get better. At 515MB download for the combo, I hope your server is ready to be slammed hard! :)Now, I just have to be patient. :(Had a feeling you guys were working on something special - great news.Thanx!VicVisit the Virtual Pilot's Centerwww.flightadventures.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/

Did I miss reading about a feature for wind smoothing in FSX, or is the MS service pack supposed to take of it?Jim Harnes

Hi,Problem with water is that there aren't many reporting stations around. It IS much better in ASX because we can dynamically add stations around the aircraft and reduce the gap!Best,
