Hi, I apologize if this has been asked before. I was wondering if ASX will be able to associate turbulence with certain types of clouds, as you usually catch a few bumps in real life when you fly through some clouds.Thanks,JeffP.S. Though very expensive, I can't wait!

Hi Jeff,I wasn't sure so I didn't answer. Damian and Carl are programming their #####'s off!! It's not so much what we can do, it's whether or not FSX can accept our input and do anything with it. Knowing a bit about the FS base engine I would say no this is not possible, but who knows?Sorry,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/

Actually, yes it is... Cloud type as well as air stability all have an effect on turb. You'll get much more turb in unstable air and cumulus cloud layers for example. Cirrus generally doesn't cause much. Stratus tends to be on the lighter side as well. The slider controls the overall strength experienced after these influences are made.Best,
