Great collection of screenies. You know, it is really cool of Microsoft to develop a flight add-on for your environment simulator. Just strange that the add-on was released first.

Any chance we can see a screenshot of a total overcast sky? Preferably a straight down screenshot say at 10,000 feet with a 1000-5000 foot deck underneath making for a complete white bed of clouds with no ground showing? That seems to be a big problem with alot of people with most weather programs. Thanks.Steve

Well I must say these look amazing, and if they are as good as Active sky 6 we know we are all in for a hugh treat, However as this is for FSX and Vista, and we all know the problems we have with FPS in FSX, could you share with us the FPS hits you have been getting using these new packages, I for one would love to see these on my machine but as I can only run FSX at 15- 20 FPS on a good day, will i really be able to use these products. Look forward to your answerCowboy10uk

Hi Cowboy10uk,X graphics is completly new and exceed active sky graphics on many things, X graphics performance is same as FSX default and there is selection of resolution and format for own preference, ASX you can manage your clouds layer to limit and getting always stable framerate, I don't see any worst performance here. X graphics is behond sky and clouds, in fact, X Graphics have complete airports environment, It's the best I have seen yet on replacement in Fs, type of tarmac, taxi way etc in multiple variation selection, as well water ocean and wave are in multiple seclection, lightning bold you will be finally able to saw them more and "able to take screenshots", in fsx they appears so much quickly you can't even take a shots or saw them. There is much more variation then you have seen in video.X Graphics covers all sky tone, example for day sky, smoogy to more clear tone and tropical, available on most real world color, unlike what's you have see before in Fs, X graphics contains all gradual sky horizonvisilibty, this is means smooth horizon graduation and smooth visiblity transition with all mile for day, dawn, dusk, and works best with ASX without doubt. To have ASX at his full capability, ASX will require X graphics for many things, horizonvisiblity, skyscape, wx influenced and more with time to have the best accuracy for all condition.ThanksChris Willishttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-dev-sigbanner.jpg

Anyways, enjoy!http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/172494.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/172495.jpg

I appreciate the screenies, but can we get some up over head pointed straight down in an OVC area? Maybe bump up the FSX cloud settings just for a minute to get the full potential. Sorry, but until I see an OVC sky in an OVC condition I am still a little on the pessimistic side. Side shots don't show that. I can take off with AS6.5 right now with 500 OVC and sometimes never go truely in the weather all the way up to cruise altitude. When I turn around to land at the 500 OVC field I get the reduced visibility that the field calls for, can look straight down and see the ground, and alot of times never really to seem to penetrate the weather. All my settings are tweaked per the HiFi comments over the last few years. I would really like to see a program finally deliver on the OVC condition. Thanks
