Temp Aloft

Recommended Posts

Guest erakickas

When flying the other day using AS6.5, the temparture at the ground was correct, but as I climbed, the temparture decreased by the standard rate, so at FL350, the OAT was -10 C, instead of the -50 C as reported by Active Sky.What do I need to change?Thanks-- Erin

HelloThanks for the assistance.I don't think I did the force temperature aloft, but I may be wrong. I thought I read that I need to upgrade to the full version of FSUIPC, is this correct?Thanks-- Erin//ASv6.5 configuration file Build 533[General]WindowPosX = 495WindowPosY = 495DefaultWeatherFolder = D:Program Files (x86)Microsoft GamesFlight Simulator 9ModulesASv6SuppressionCeiling = 7000SurfaceWindLimit = 10FS9Path = D:Program Files (x86)Microsoft GamesFlight Simulator 9PersonalAppDataFolder = C:Documents and SettingsErinApplication DataCloudLayerLimit = 5LocalSuppressionRange = 50MinimumVisibility = 0MaximumVisibility = 59AutoVasFrequency = 30AutoVasStrength = 30TurbulenceFrequency = DefaultStartupLocation = KDENDefaultGraphicsFullTheme = DefaultGraphicsCirrusTheme = AutoSubmitGraphicsTheme = FalseIncreasedWake = FalseDisableWindsAloft = FalseForcePrimaryServer = FalseForceSecondaryServer = FalseGEProAutoSubmit = FalseUseFetchedStationforGEPro = TrueShowDecodedMBasDecimal = FalseSkyOverride = GEPROFavorCumulus = FalseForceRoutePressure = FalseForceLowestCeiling = FalseUnpauseOnReadyStatus = TrueDisableWriteThrottle = FalseDisableProcessThrottle = FalseForceTstormsWithCB = FalseAutoSetFSTime = TrueIgnoreFSLocationUntilReady = TrueAutoConvertPlanFiles = TrueAutoRefreshAI = TrueDisableVisGraduation = FalseEnableGEProWideFSMode = FalseExtendedThrottling = FalseForceRouteAloftTemp = FalseOfflinePlayback = FalseEnableVAS = TrueAutoGenVAS = TrueForceDestinationWeatherZone = FalsePreventIcing = FalseOnlineUpdates = TrueExtendedDestinationWindsForce = FalseDisableAllGroundUpdates = FalseGlobalWrites = FalseDepictFS9HazeLayer = TrueExtendTstormLayers = FalseDisableDirectWindControl = FalseVoicePlayback = TrueLocalSuppression = TrueStartupSound = TrueDisableGroundUpdates = FalseUseProxyServer = FalseFogLayerGeneration = TrueUpdateSuppression = TrueOvercastEnhancement = TrueIgnoreFSReadyStatus = TrueFSUIPCWindSmoothing = TrueLimitSurfaceWinds = FalseLimitCloudLayers = FalseAutoGlobalWriteToggle = TrueRainWithTS = TrueDisableUpperLayerGeneration = FalseVisibilitySmoothing = TrueDisableMessages = FalseAutoTimeZoneDetection = TrueUpdateInterval = 10VATSIMData = FalseZuluConversion = -5AloftPredictability = 100WindDriftRate = 0MaxCloudThickness = 10000MinStratusSeparation = 7000TAFProcessing = FalseEnforceVisibilityLimits = TrueWakeTurb = TrueStartPaused = FalseUseSystemTime = TrueDisableCAVOKClouds = FalseProxyAddress = NONELastPlanFolder = C:Documents and SettingsErinMy DocumentsFlight Simulator Files

Hi Erin,Sorry that your post got lost in the ASX stuff. Re-reading your post brought something to mind. AS is reporting OAT, but depending on where you are reading temps in FS they could be OAT or TAT. Most panels read out TAT. So where are you reading the FS temperature?Your settings look good! Please let us know!Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
