John,I have both FS9 and FSX installed and currently use AS6.5 with both. I can no longer find the installation instructions for using AS6.5 with FSX and don't rememeber what I did to get it working. My question is do I have to deactivate or do anything else with AS6.5 or FSX before I install ASX? Don't want to chance buggering things up.Thanks,Ted.

John,I forgot that AS6.5 was written for use with FSX. I was looking all over the forums for the FSX installation instructions when they were right in the FS9/modules/AS6 folder all along. I remembered there was some messing with the ini file, so I wanted to make sure that was correct. One other thing, I would still like to use FSUIPC 4.103 for configuration of my flight control devices. I realize that ASX uses simconnect, however will the weather controls in FSUIPC interfere with ASX?Sorry about all the questions, but I finally got FSX operating really well and I don't want to take any chances messing it up.Ted

Hi Ted,FSUIPC should not interfere as long as you're not enabling its weather features.. keep those disabled.Best,

The question from Ted and the answers from Jim and Damian are much appreciated! My FSX is also running like a well-oiled Swiss watch (or a ticking time-bomb) and doesn't need any disruptions. Many thanks to all,JackD
