Question re ; XGraphics defaults

Recommended Posts

OK, realizing that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, exactly what are the XGraphics defaults? Mid range settings to please everyone? The settings the developers think look best? Settings that *should* run on most systems? The basic FSX defaults?I think of the FSX default settings - usually dumbed down but needing tweaks. If my question makes sense - would just accepting the XG defaults give the best, most realistic, natural look to the weather? From there, if my personal taste is to fluffier clouds, etc. then I make my own changes.BTW - is there a link to an ASX-XG Supporter graphic?Thanx!VicVisit the Virtual Pilot's Centerwww.flightadventures.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/

I think you misunderstood the question... ;)I also wondered if the X-Graphic default TEXTURES (every category has a X-Graphic default texture and there is also a preset theme called X-Graphic default) are a copy of the FSX default textures (in case you want them back) or Hifi's own favorite textures or the most realistic ones or the fps-friendlist or the most realistic... etc. etc. etc. Know what I mean? ;)

Hi, X-Graphic default are only the first variation from each categories and have a saved theme called XGraphics default, it's a basic set to start of and change for later and save theme. Not related to performance, since clouds format and resolution are controled in the option button, it's not really prefered or something like this.Ps: To restore default fsx it's in the option buttonThanksChris Willishttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-dev-sigbanner.jpg

Kind Regards

It's indeed a clear answer, but er... why didn't Hifi give those defaults a unique name like all other textures...? Giving the name 'X-Graphic default' seems to mean or imply something. It's clear now that it doesn't, but still... ;)
