Some questions

I have just purchased the bundle product and I have to say that I am experiencing new exciting and realistic flying experiences absolutely without any loss of performance also in really heavy bad weather conditions.I have only some questions about:1. After to have create and installed a customized theme in X Graphics, have I again to click the button 'Install X Graphics textures' in ActiveSky X to be sure to load the preferred textures?2. I have reduced the wind, turbulence and icing sliders: if I put them at maximum level could I have some loss in performances?3. Mainly for dusk, dawn and night sky textures I don't have an homogeneous sky, but i see unrealistic rectangles with different colour tones. Is it normal? If not what can I do to solve it (im running a 1600x1200x32 solutions with graphics quality slider in FSX almost to max levels. In Xgraphics i have selected 256x256 textures in 32 bit format (not DXT5)).I have experinced only a bgu regarding purple water and I have solved it unchecking the land texture details in FSX, now I have great water effects and shapes (low 2x in FSX settings). Thanks again for your support and the great products

Hi,Thanks for the words!1. Correct, nothing is installed to FSX until you do click on the Install button.2. No, none of those sliders should affect performance.3. It is the way that the FSX engine sometimes handles the transitions from/to dawn/dusk.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/

Thanks for the answeres. Two more to be sure to use the products in the best way:1. Is better to use textures in DXT5 or 32 bit format?2. Not really understand what means the 'wx influenced' function: is it not enough to install the theme from X Graphics and then use the button 'Install X Graphics textures' in ActiveSky X to have the textures loaded during a flight? What does that function? X Graphics needs to be running with ASX and FSX to use it?Sorry to bother you again and many thanks in advance for your patience

Hi,Never a problem!1. DXT5 are the default FSX style textures. You can try 32 bit if you have a powerful machine.2. The wx Influenced function will give you textures based on the average conditions between departing and destination airports. No matter what you need to load textures before starting FSX. Once that happens you can shut down X-Graphics. It is just another feature of ours!Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
