Wx snapshot?

For AS6.5How often is current Wx snapshot text file updated when using online Wx during a flight or parked at the gate? I did not disable updates while on the ground.Is ther a way to force a snapshot update prior to using FSbuild to do a new flight plan prior to departure?I did a new route (same as the originsl) in AS but it did not create a new snapshot .. the original from an hour previous was still there.I also tried "refresh" but it did not generate a new snapshot.I had to sit at the gate for 1.5 hrs, so the wx had changed.As a result FSbuild created the same winds aloft etc.

Hi,If you force the Secondary Server on the AS options page you will get a new snapshot each time, even if you click the refresh button. That should do it!Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
