A re-install seemed to do the trick. 2nd time round.Now, since installing sp1 for asx I can't use 4x time. well, I can use it, but asx and map won't keep track of the plane. Pre 1083 it would do this and keep weather up to date. Perhaps I should go back to the previous version?

Ok ok! LOL, I will try with High Pri turned on. It was currently off. (Ok back from an extended flight)Ok, with High Pri turned on things do seem to be a bit better. Weather seems to my eyes anyway, to be updating but please let me know exactly what I should be looking for.As for 4x, things will stay current until I reduce the time back to normal.....I can live with that. However, I would like to know that everything is alright, please what should I look for?Is it when I switch back to asx with fsx paused the asx map and nearest reporting station update to the correct one?I looked in the 'briefing report' e.g. Flight Plan screen since that is what you seemed to be suggesting but let me know.Thanks for all the help thus so far!
