X Gauge and Glass Panel

Recommended Posts

Guest mjthfx

Hi ThereSorry if this is a repeat question. I read somewhere that you can add the X Gauge as a Screen page to the Garmin 1000 MDF? Is that possible? And if so, where can I find a HowTo?

>Jim>>I will look to see where I got this from...>>MarkX Gauge may be overlaid onto Virtual Cockpit panels if an existing texture surface (such as an existing MFD-style gauge or other available area). Modifying the panel configuration files is required and not all aircraft are compatible with this method. For information on gauges and virtual cockpits, please see the Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK at http://www.fsinsider.com.Fromfile:///C:/Program%20Files/HiFi/XEngine/ASX/Documentation/xgauge.html

Right, so how do you do it?Has there been any talk or idea kicking around with integrating the x gauge in some panels? Whether they be regular or Glass Cockpit (ala Garmin 1000)?Or integrate the X Gauge with the Kneeboard, that would be handy too.
