XPAX & Leveld-D Pushback

Recommended Posts

Guest jarrodc

I am running the LDS 767 and use the pushback feature provided by Level D. You call to gound and then request pushback (option 4) and put in the distance & angle and away we go.I have purchased & installed xpax and using it on a remote machine using simconnect. It is configured correctly and everything works well up until the point of pushback - ie the airway coes across, the doors open and close as they should the pax board the aircraft, all reports OK.When I call for pushback, and select option 4, FSX hangs and after a while it CTD. I have tried several times and this happens every time. If I dont run xpax, and call for pushback, the aircraft pushes back as it should and we can then commence taxi. Has anyone seen this and is there a solution available to fix this problem.Hepl would be greatfully appreaciates.RegardsJarrod ClowesAustralia.

Hi,XPax and LvL-D767-X work together OK here. There was/is a problem with the LVL_D-X whereby the pushback guage window would get burried under the full-screen FS window. Try pressing alt-enter to put FS in Window mode then call the pushback option. If you forget to go into Window mode before calling for pushback and you're already in full-screen, try pressing ctrl-alt-delete which should minimize the full-screen FS window and you should then see the LVL-D pushback window.Hope this helps.More info on the pushback window issue can be found in the registered section of the LVL-D 767 support forums.

Thanks jordanal, that would explain my problem.xpax works OK with the FS pushback (shift-P then 1 or 2) but that doesnt suit. Its difficult enough trying to start the aircraft & do pre taxi checks, and keep an eye out on the pushback with one person flying. Its much easier to set the pushback and know the aircraft will stop at the angle and distance you want it to. It is also inconvenient switching from full screen and didling around at that point in your preparation. From what I can see its a levelD issue not HIFI, however any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks all for your info.I will have a look in the leveld support forum to see if I can resolve.RegardsJarrod
